Getting on and off a tractor dozens of times a day adds up. It's not something most people think about until it becomes a problem - a strain, a slip, or just the frustration of an awkward climb. That's exactly what this job was about. The customer needed one more step on their yard tractor to close the gap and make daily use safer and easier.
We built the step from scratch. Welded steel frame, open tread surface for grip, and a solid mounting bracket to tie it into the existing step assembly. Nothing fancy for the sake of it - just well-built and functional. The tread pattern cut into the step surface gives it grip whether you're coming off a muddy field or a dry shop floor.
This is the kind of custom fabrication work we genuinely enjoy. There's no off-the-shelf part that fits every machine perfectly, and that's where we come in. We look at what's already there, figure out what's needed, and build something that fits like it was always supposed to be there. The finished step sits clean against the tractor and ties into the existing platform without looking like an afterthought.
Farm equipment takes a beating, and the parts we build have to hold up to the same standard. We use solid steel construction throughout - no thin sheet metal that's going to flex or fatigue after a season of use. Whether it's a step, a bracket, a hitch plate, or something else entirely, if it can be welded and fabricated, we can build it to fit your specific machine and your specific needs.
