We got a call from a pontoon owner out on Sylvan Lake in Rome City - their boat needed some structural attention before it was ready to get back on the water. No need to haul it to a shop. That's exactly what mobile welding is for. We loaded up the truck and brought everything we needed right to them.
Here's what we were working with - a couple of bracket mounts on the pontoon that had broken free from the aluminum deck. The kind of thing that looks minor until you realize the whole connection point needs to be properly re-welded to hold up to real use out on the water. A bad weld here isn't just an eyesore, it's a safety issue.
We set up right there on the property with our Lincoln welder running off the service truck. Clean bead, solid fusion to the aluminum deck. The brackets are seated and welded tight - the kind of repair that's built to last through a full season of lake use and beyond.
That's the whole point of mobile welding. You don't have to drain the boat, load it on a trailer, drive it to a shop, and wait days for a callback. We come to you, we do the job right, and you get back on the water. Simple as that.
If you've got a pontoon, boat, trailer, or anything else that needs welding work and you'd rather not haul it anywhere, reach out. We cover the area and we bring a full welding setup with us wherever the job is.
